Worked at the National Library for Wei Yi Jie Jie with Muacks Muacks, Stevie and Calvin. It was the annual event and Wei Yi Jie Jie said it's doing the same stuff, therefore, I decided to take up the job with the other 3. However, it was so damn DIFFERENT! Ok, probably only the job scope of scanning and uploading the pictures were the same.
We stood from 9.30am till 6.30pm, (lunch was ate standing up too. boo!) got scolded by some people there, and was so damn 看不起 by that someone there etc. Woo! Angry! Like seriously, I don't think my computer skills are that lousy please. My tian. Ok. Whatever. Endured through the hours and treated ourselves to a dinner steamboat as a form of relaxation then after.
Full, full, full! It's been really long since I last had steamboat (if I'm not wrong) and it's always after the NLB events that we go for steamboats. Hee. Kinda miss those times, the people around, everything. Anyway, at about 8pm, because of the location behind a damn tall building, I missed the FIREWORKS! We could hear everything so damn clearly but can't see the actual thing. F! Just like what Stevie said, it's like will very pek chek. I want to watch the fireworks! )): Why so not fated? Sucks. Nevermind. Last chance, National Day! Boo!
Decided to cab back home and the 4 of us shared one cab and it took me almost an hour just to reach home from Bugis. (if I cab alone, it's only about $10, so please estimate how short the journey is) Sounds kinda dumb right? But thank God there was entertainment till Calvin left at Woodlands and I was left all alone.
And something I said before boarding the cab made Caiyun laugh like crazy. Even her msn nick was changed to "i've got to admit that miss LU ZENG YING is soooooooooooooo funny! HAHA!" My tian! But she was also quite funny because she only laughed about it like damn long later, like when we're reaching her place. Haa! Laughs back at her. =P
Anyway, thanks friends, for everything today. ((:
But, I still yearn for FIREWORKS! Hais.
Don't ask me for events that require standing for more than 6 hours next time. My legs are hurting really badly. )):
