DURIANS! chee cheong fun! chee kuay! tutu kuay! drinks!
i was super glad i went home for dinner last night! i love family times together. almost everyone in the family was there. not a big family, but still, i love squeezing up all together in the small 3-room flat of gonggong and porpor's.
since kaiye and uncle billy [the 2 person who hate durians] weren't there for dinner, kaima suggested for us to go have some DURIANS! since it's the durian season and it's going to be her treat! so we proceeded down to jurong west st 51 for it! imagine this whole stretch selling durians [3/4] and the back 1/4 selling other fruits. and that the moment you get down the car, the durian aroma filled in, how can anyone resist it? =P
so we ate like 13 durians in total, costing about $30 for them all. cheap and GOOD! and there was this 1 durian we ate that cost $10 each, it was obviously the BEST! and i think i ate about 6 pieces of all the durians after 2 years of totally rejecting durians! my mouth stink-ed real badly, so were my fingers.
and guess what, after having dinner and the durians, kaima suggested for more food! she wanted to have the oyster eggy dish from the market/food centre beside so we went over with her. however, she can't find the stall and instead treated us to chee cheong fan[$5], chee kuay[$4], tutu kuay[$5] and drinks[$7] to fill all the remaining little spaces we still have in our stomachs!
