it's been more than 10 days since i've last blogged. many things happened throughout this chinese new year period.
28th
had reunion dinner with mum's side. dad's side had theirs way early, maybe 2 weeks before chinese new year? cause we need many tables and at that time, we can save up to 200 a table. so the total cost won't be that high.
29th
went to church in the morning for servce, as usual. but the service ended abit later, cause it's the new church. didn't have the photo taking sessions like those in bedok too. rushed up to tampines to bai nian at the first house. step-grandmother. had lunch and the usual stuff too. went back to jurong after that to dai bak gong's house, and so on. had dinner at pei's house. lao yu sang, abalone (: and many other nice food.
30th
went to many por por's houses. [bedok] xiu lan por por. liang mei por por. xi mei por por. chiong hua por por. [saw victoria there too. long time no see.] jian mu shi etc. in the past. going to their houses don't seem like a thing to me. just ok, go bai nian lor. but now. it feels different. unique and special too.
31st
was supposed to bai nian witht he redeemer people. but i think they weren't free. was supposed to go out my cousins. but i wasn't very into it, so didn't go along. went to san gu mou's house to bai nian. but she was at her son's place. so had to go there instead. at chua chu kang. nice place. very stylo and cool.
1st
back to work.[whole day] went to bai nian at night. Dr chong's house. nice place too. spacious. love the somewhat like at fire place style.
2nd
went to hui du [bishop]'s house to bai nian. fun sia. the things they were talking about. so cool. didn't expect them to be so funny. (: one sentence that stuck right in there when aunty jean was giving us ang pows was 'actually christians also wan to fa cai. it's only because being a christian you can't say it.' quite true. when you go around to bai nian. others around you might be 'gong hei fat choi' and you can only 'san nin fai lok'
3rd
finally home in the night. been going around to bai nian everyday. really have the chinese new year feeling. only except that most of the places ain't really our relatives. cause they say that if someone in your family dies, within that year[or something like that, can't remember] we can't go and bai nian. so we didn't went to their houses.
4th
had 3 things happening concurrently. 4C class outing. cousin's outing. blc sentosa outing. very hard decision to make. first 4C outing this year. had some gatherings. but it's in cliques. not as a class too. pang seh-ed my cousins once on nian chu san and blc people during the peng ren bi sai. so it took me a long time to decide which to go. knew about the 4C thing quite early but forgot about it totally until thursday. so i think i can't really choose that option.
cousin's outing was planned before i knew about the sentosa thing[mon]. really want to go and play. but had a dream on i think tuesday night about the tuan qi. really scary. told shi song most probably i won't be going. in case what i dreamt of became real. eee. but had a talk with michael on phone and it kinda made me want to go with them. but since i couldn't get the details of where to meet and everything. decided to forgo it again. couldn't reach him.
went out with cousins instead. have a fun time too. went to uncle peter's house after that. shisong's family. joseph's family. aunty dorcus. hui hua jie jie and han en. they were there too. some sort of like kang li tuan qi but not all of them were present. shi jie is damn cute. (:
5th
one week after CNY. stop the bai nian-ings. church again. went to cecilia's house at night. gambled. tried very hard not to gamble this year. but still failed. really did not gamble on CNY day. although the rest did. resisting temptations. lost about 14 bucks. but got a 10 dollars ang pow back. wasn't that bad after all. cecilia lost about 20 and didn't have any ang pows. poor thing. (:
6th 7th 8th 9th
work work work. nothing much happened.
tomorrow
doooom day. die die die. can't think of anything now. worried.
super long post. shall end here. will post what tomorrow will be another day. nothing to say .................
